Upcoming Shows!
Hey kids- Here’s the scoop on some ska coming to our town:
- On Sat. June 13, Rancid will be playing Pop’s along with Rise Against. Rancid is supposed to have an organ-heavy ska track on the new album, I can’t wait to hear it.
- Then, on Tues. June 16, The Pinstripes and The VOID UNION will play The Gramophone. I’m very impressed by both of these bands and I’m happy as hell to see them come through St. Louis. Click on there names to hear some tunes on their MySpaces.
- Lastly, on Mon. Aug 3rd, Vans Warped Tour is returning to St. Louis, and with a better line-up than I’ve seen in years. They’ve got something for every kind of ska fan, out there. Ska acts include Big D and the Kids Table, Less Than Jake, Streetlight Manifesto and Westbound Train. Not to mention, Bad Religion- for those like me who remember them fondly. And I’m really curious about Angelo Moore’s Dr Madd Vibe Experiment- what could it be?
