Last night was one killer episode, if I do say so myself.  In the first hour, I was dropping new tunes from The Slackers, The Pinstripes and others as well as classic reggae and popcorn ska. Later, I opened the studio to Greg K, who selected all of the big tunes in the second hour.  Greg brought some choice cuts of digitized vinyl from such scene favorites as Laurel, The Slackers and The Skatalites and ska underdogs from the likes of The Exceptionals and 79 RPMs.

Here’s what happened on last night’s Ska’s The Limit…  The first hour was filled with high energy, contemporary ska and ska-punk from the likes of Common Rider, Vic Ruggiero, Big D and The Operators 780.  By contrast, hour two focused more on Rocksteady and neo-trad Ska, with a tiny tribute to Lyn Taitt followed by smooth sounds from Hepcat, Dr. Ring-Ding, Jackie Opel and many more.  I received a ton of positive phone calls, cheering me on- thanks everybody!
